NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Millville, 12 South High St, Millville, NJ 08332 until Thursday, July 7, 2022, 10:00 AM local prevailing time. When publicly opened and read aloud for:
‘DEMOLITION OF
FORMER RESCUE SQUAD BUILDING’
300 COLUMBIA AVE. MILLVILLE, NJ 08332
for the City of Millville in accordance with plans & specifications on file in the office of the Engineering dept. For paper copies of plans & specification visit 6th Floor, City Hall, 12 South High St., Millville, NJ during regular business hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged for paper copies. Digital copies can also be made available for additional costs.
Each bid must be submitted enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the "Millville City Commissioners, City of Millville, 12 South High St., Millville, NJ 08332" and plainly marked on the outside "Bid for Demolition of Former Rescue Squad Building", including the name of bidder and delivered before the time of the bid opening and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), made payable to the City of Millville. Facsimile or emailed bids will NOT be accepted.
An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 10:00 AM at City Hall, 6th Floor, 12 S. High Street, Millville, NJ 08332.
This proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action).
Bidders are required to submit a statement of ownership with their bid as required by P.L. 1977, c. 33 (Disclosure of Ownership).
Bidders are required to submit a copy of their Business Registration Certificate with their bid as required by N.J.S.A. 52:32-44.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City of Millville, Cumberland County, NJ, at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
The City is not responsible for the loss or destruction of any bids mailed or delivered to the City Clerk prior to the time set for the bid opening.
