The Engineering Department provides survey, design, permitting, public bidding, project administration, inspection, project close out, supervision, and layout services to the following city departments:

The city engineer serves as the engineer to the Millville Planning and Zoning boards. This involves a design review of all site plans and subdivisions submitted to the respective boards. It also includes follow-up inspection to insure that applicants have constructed their sites in accordance with the Planning Board and Zoning Board approvals.
