Dog Licensing

    According to State regulations the owners of all dogs in the City of Millville, that are seven (7) months of age or older are required to annually apply to the city for a dog license.

    In order for the the license to be issued, the owner must present proof that a licensed veterinarian has vaccinated the dog against rabies and that the duration of the immunization must extend throughout at least ten (10) months of a twelve (12) month licensing period.

    The owner of a newly acquired dog of licensing age, or of a dog that will attain the licensing age during the calendar year, shall make application for a dog license within 10 days of acquiring the animal, or within 10 days that the animal reaches the licensing age.

 How Do I Obtain a Dog License?

 You may obtain a License in person on the 1st floor of the City Hall Bldg.  Please bring with you, proof of current rabies vaccination and spayed/neutered if applicable.
 

 If this is a renewal tag and you received a current year license reminder/bill from our office, please bring that with you as well. If the tag is for a new animal, please print and fill in the dog license form, and bring with you to help expedite your visit.


  You may also submit by mail.  Include the completed dog license form, a copy of required vaccinations, the appropriate fees in check or money order (Payable to: CITY OF MILLVILLE), and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: City of Millville, Dog Registration, PO Box 609, Millville NJ 08332.
