Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste shall not be placed curbside for collection. It is unlawful to dispose of any hazardous waste by pouring it down the drain, storm sewers, or on the ground. TV's shall not be cannibalized or placed at the curb.

Accepted Items
Electronic Waste: Televisions, VCRs, Stereos, Computers, Laptops, DVDs, CD Players, Printers, Microwaves, Monitors, Keyboards, Phones, Vacuums, Rechargeable Batteries, Cell Phones, etc.
Hazardous Waste: The only items accepted at our facility located at 416 S. 15th Street are Uncontaminated Waste Oil and Uncontaminated Antifreeze delivered in sealed disposable containers.
Additional Information
Household Batteries: AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volt can be disposed of with your regular trash.

Household Hazardous Waste and Document Shredding Day
Dates: Held in April, June and September every year. Dates are announced in March.
Location: Cumberland County Landfill located at 169 Jessie Bridge Road (Off of Sherman Avenue, Route 552)
