  • Although we understand that things happen that may delay your payment, even if you have never been late before, we are unable to waive interest. Once a tax payment is considered delinquent, interest must be charged. Per state statute, the collector is required to collect interest on delinquent taxes. No one has the authority to waive delinquent interest.

  • Please note that if you have a mortgage company, the only way we can send information to your mortgage company is if we have a tax authorization form on file in our office, allowing us to do so. If we do not have a bank code on file, the system will generate an original bill which will be mailed to the owner of record.
A large number of mortgage companies use a paying agency for their tax payments, and these agencies receive an electronic file from us for every tax quarter, which includes every one of our tax lines. The companies will then select the ones they need to pay and return it with payment. Therefore, some mortgage companies do not send us a tax authorization, as they know they will be receiving an electronic file.
Should you have a question as to whether or not your mortgage company will be paying your upcoming taxes since you received the bill, please contact your mortgage company. They are the only ones that can give you a definite answer.

  • Should you receive a tax bill with the words "FOR ADVICE ONLY" and your mortgage has been satisfied, please call the office. We will be more than happy to send you a tax authorization form to remove the mortgage information from your account.
Please note that you will need to use the "FOR ADVICE ONLY" copy to pay your taxes until your next billing.

  • Should you receive a delinquent notice and you previously paid by check, please call your bank to make sure the check has been cashed. If it has, and the bank can issue a copy of the back of the check, we have information on the back of the check which can be used to determine where the payment was applied.
If you call the bank and the check was not cashed, we may not have received your payment, or the payment was recently applied. Please contact our office by calling 856-825-7000, ext. 7611, to see if we received your check. Please have your check number handy.
